Concentrating on Social Security Disability and SSI Claims and Appeals

Omaha, Nebraska, Social Security Disability Attorney

Social Security Disability/SSDI — Supplemental Security Income/SSI

If you have a physical or mental problem severe enough to keep you from working for a period of 12 months, you are already struggling with numerous challenges, which may include the loss of income, medical bills, pain and uncertainty about your future. You know that you can't work because of health problems. At a challenging time like this, you deserve assistance.

The Social Security Administration pays benefits to disabled individuals who are unable to work through two programs:

  • Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits, which are available to individuals who have "paid into" the Social Security fund for five of the last 10 years.
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits, which are available to low income and low resource individuals who do not qualify for Social Security Disability (SSDI) benefits.

At the law firm of Timothy J. Cuddigan, we have represented individuals seeking Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income benefits exclusively since 1994. We are committed to providing effective Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income assistance. Social Security lawyer Tim Cuddigan's experiences include:

  • Representing thousands of clients in connection with disability claims
  • National and local speaker on Social Security law and medical challenges that involve disability claims, such as multiple sclerosis, spinal disorders and post-polio syndrome
  • Current board member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR)
  • Representing veterans in disability compensation, the veterans disability appeals process and pension claims

Only attorneys can represent individuals seeking benefits from the initial filing all the way to the federal courts. In addition, Social Security regulations limit the payment that attorneys and others receive for claimant assistance. For legal assistance from an experienced attorney who has represented thousands of claimants, contact our firm.
