Brumbaugh, Mu & King, P.A. has been helping people for over 25 years. In 1989 our firm limited its practice to injury law. This includes personal injury, automobile, wrongful death, medical malpractice, workers' compensation, products liability and Social Security claims. About Kenneth King:
Ken was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1961. He was admitted to the Georgia bar and the North Carolina bar in 1986. Admitted to courts: 1990 U.S. District Court, Eastern District of North Carolina and U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit.
Ken practices law in the following areas: workers' compensation, personal injury litigation, wrongful death, trials in state and federal courts and arbitrations. He is a board certified workers' compensation specialist through the North Carolina State Bar. Mr King was recently appointed to a three year term on the North Carolina Bar Association Workers' Compensation Section Council. He is also a member of the Workers' Compensation Section of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers and is a frequent lecturer.
He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.S. 1983); Mercer University (J.S. cum laude, 1986); Naval Justice School, Newport, Rhode Island (graduated with honors, 1987).
Ken served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1986 through 1990 where he was a member of the JAG Corps.
