Client with Agoraphobia gets benefits

Agoraphobia is the fear of being in close places. It can be very disabling but often misunderstood. Our 46 year old client was unable to hold a job as he was scared out of his mind attempting to get to work. And even when he did show up to work, it was difficult for his to work with others. Though he had strong medical support, the SSA denied him twice. At the hearing, he testified that he rarely leaves his home. The court agreed that he was credible and he was awarded beneifts.
